Tree Limin' Extreme – Zipline St. Thomas is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Manager on Duty (MOD), Driver, and Maintenance at our park located on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
For over 13 years, Tree Limin’ Extreme has delivered unforgettable zipline experiences through the rainforest, offering guests a fun, high-energy adventure with some of the most spectacular views on island.
Position Overview:
The position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction, safely operating vehicles in rough and uneven terrain, and working hands-on in construction and maintenance throughout the park.
MOD Responsibilities:
Execute all Manager on Duty (MOD) course management procedures
Supervise and support park and office staff
Assist with and perform course rescues and evacuations due to incidents or weather
Manage and operate the reservation system
Check in guests, verify waivers, weights, and review zipline expectations
Coordinate and assist with tour guide scheduling
Complete and file daily and incident reports
Foster a positive team environment and support employee morale
Driving Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles (pickup trucks/ATVs) on steep, off-road, mountainous terrain
Transport guests from base to the top of the zipline course
Navigate private roads in challenging conditions including mud, rain, and uneven surfaces
Maintain a clean driving record (required)
Maintenance Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance and construction projects on an as-needed basis
Support upkeep and safety of course infrastructure
Use of power tools and ability to repair wooden decks
Training & Schedule:
Must complete TLE's five-day training course to become a zipline guide prior to assuming MOD responsibilities
Position begins part-time with the opportunity to transition into full-time
Minimum Qualifications: Strong leadership, supervision, and organizational skills
Maintenance and/or construction experience mandatory
Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, booking systems, Windows)
Customer service focused with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to lead and follow direction
Effective time management skills
Understanding of the outdoor recreation and hospitality industry
Pay: $30.00 per hour
