Oregon Native is a proven offshore cruising yacht. This Oyster 56 successfully completed the 2017 Oyster World Rally before going on to spend six years cruising the South Pacific.

Designed by Rob Humphreys and built by Oyster Marine in the UK to Lloyd’s approved specifications, Oregon Native is hull number 43 of the highly regarded Oyster 56 series. Combining Oyster’s renowned build quality with exceptional seaworthiness, she represents one of the most respected bluewater cruising platforms in her class, equally capable of comfortable liveaboard cruising, serious passagemaking, and extended offshore adventures.

Below deck, her 4-cabin, 2-head layout offers an excellent balance of owner comfort and practical offshore functionality. The aft owner’s stateroom provides a spacious and private retreat, while the forward VIP cabin features a generous double berth for guests. On deck, Oregon Native has a great sailing wardrobe including a fully batten North Sails 3Di Endurance 760 mainsail (2016) with three reef points, furling 3Di Endurance 760 staysail, and an A2 asymmetric spinnaker paired with a Karver top-down furling system for controlled and efficient downwind sailing.

Her electronics systems are equally impressive, featuring a full B&G electronics suite including dual Zeus 12” multifunction displays, upgraded B&G Hydra autopilot with hydraulic linear drive, Simrad 3G broadband radar, Weatherdock AIS, Icom SSB radio, Iridium satellite communications, Navtex, and dual-station VHF controls.

Mechanically, she benefits from a replacement Westerbeke 12.5kW generator with approximately 606 hours as of April 2026, supporting comfortable and reliable extended cruising. Her electrical systems are thoughtfully configured around a 24V DC backbone with 110V AC outlets throughout the vessel, supported by Mastervolt inverter/charger systems for efficient operation both offshore and at anchor.
