Celtic Cat is a 2022 Aquila 44 powercat berthed at Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor, in the BVI. Removed from limited MarineMax charter duty and recently returned from a comprehensive fleet inspection, she’s been serviced to a like new standard and presents with minimal visible wear. Her twin Volvo D4 320 hp engines show 876 and 874 hours and the Kohler 9 kW generator 1,858 hours — figures that are comparatively low for a boat with professional fleet history.
The popular three double cabin, three ensuite layout provides comfortable private accommodation for owners and guests, while the single level salon with full 360° glazing delivers excellent natural light and sightlines. The primary cabin features a king-sized centerline bed. The salon table converts to an additional berth with a filler cushion for flexibility. The flybridge is appointed with an integrated hardtop and wet bar, forming a functional helm and entertaining area, and the aft cockpit leads to swim platforms with a retractable ladder for easy water access.
Systems and electronics are as installed from new. Navigation is handled by a Raymarine coastal package with a 12" Pro S chartplotter, CPT S transducer, VHF and autopilot with P70 rotary controller. The electrical suite includes a Kohler 9 kW generator, 5,000 W inverter/charger, dual 50A shore power cords, a substantial AGM house bank and dedicated start batteries, plus two solar panels for supplemental charging. Domestic systems include freshwater flushing heads with separate showers, Spectra Newport 400 watermaker, generous freshwater and fuel tankage, including a reserve fuel tank arrangement.
