Hello. I am selling my 35 foot Gemini 2016 model catamaran located at USVI.
It is “salvage” - was damaged by Irma-Maria 2017 - there are cracks above the cabin doors meaning the boat suffered construction damage and will not pass the survey as a seaworthy vessel.
Survey was done by one of potential buyers - it can be obtained from him but not for free.
Nevertheless this is not a blue water cruiser - it's a live onboard and sail around the Virgin Islands boat.
Boat is still in use by me, my family and friends. I keep it in safe harbor or "on the hard" for the hurricane seasons and on the mooring or anchor during rest of the year.
It has factory new mast and furler from Selden with new rigging (both standing and running), with wind vane, hi-end antenna, lights etc.
New rails and lifelines, repowered with two Yanmar 2QM20F.
Engine compartments have electric ventilation redone 2021.
New bilge pumps, new water pump and new shower pumps 2021.
The 12 volt installation was redone 2020 and has been working properly since.
Autopilot Raymarine with all working upgraded instruments, depth, speed and wind gauges. Raymarine Chart Plotter e7D with remote control, Raymarine VHF with remote command mic, ACU200 and travel computer.
Sails- main (original with battens) and one jib on the furler - right now it needs a new jib.
2 solar panels 15A each max, LiFePo batteries 800W, 2 start batteries, 1500W 110 inverter. Two heads- one electric with new motor and other manual, barely used.
Two holding tanks 18 gallons each, macerator, 3 showers (one outside, on the steps), 3 cabins made for 4 persons with expansion to another 2-3 in the saloon where one can turn a table and the a sofa in to a comfortable bed.
Two-sink galley.
60g water tanks - lasts 1 week for 2 ppl
59g fuel tanks - lasts forever as the engines take around half a gallon per hour/1800 rpm.
Two-burner cooktop with elecric control switch for safety, 20LB aluminum gas cylinder that lasts almost the whole season.
New, 2021 Dometic marine fridge (12V/110V)with freezer compartment. Draws 5 amps so the electric power is well balanced onboard.
Renovated Lewmar Windlass (new motor, solenoid and wires). Works flawlessly with foot operated buttons.
Two anchors (Delta and Bruce).
600 pound davits.
Boat is tight, no leaks top or bottom.
Lots of place for storage.
Outside table in the cockpit.
Sound system.
Easy to sail singlehanded as all control lines are led to the cockpit.
No AC and no watermaker.
All cabin lights and nav lights are redone.
New fans, refreshed upholstery.
A lots of extras.
Boat is clean, no insects.
You can live aboard, sail around islands. Bottom cleaned and painted Dec 2022 scrapped since than in water.
There was hull work done 2019-2020- the sacrifice keels were partially rebuilt and the bulkheads reinforced.
The bulkheads were redone but not all of them. Bow and aft port bulkheads were reinforced as well as middle where the mast rests.
It is still some work to be done - a middle bulkhead - I would guess- as one can see the cracks over the front cabin doors - to make her completely seaworthy but it's good for sailing in weaker winds low seas.
I have tested her in up to 25 kn wind and some 5ft sea couple of times and didn't noticed any changes.
It is parked on my own mooring ball that is included in the deal if needed. Place is spectacular as You can watch sunset over the ocean every day!
Registered on USVI, clean title.
It is a comfy, little catamaran for a family.
